Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and reliable Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team on a part-time basis. Working within a prestigious private members’ golf club, you will be responsible for managing a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation for members and guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes within your section
- Maintain consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation
- Assist in the development of seasonal menus and daily specials
- Ensure your section is clean, organised, and compliant with food hygiene standards
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering as required
- Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team during service
- Adhere to all health & safety and food safety regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to step up
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and during club events
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Desirable
- Experience working in a golf club, hotel, or members’ club environment
- Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or higher)
- Passion for fresh, seasonal produce
Working Hours
- Part-time hours (flexible rota)
- Includes weekends, bank holidays, and occasional evenings depending on club events
Pay: From £14.00 per hour
