Amore Mio is a traditional Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria & Gelateria in the heart of the Cotswolds - Cirencester. We opened our doors in early 2020 to bring to Cirencester and the Cotswolds a unique combination of authentic Italian cuisine and artisan gelato, everything made on-site with fresh & authentic Mediterranean ingredients. As an independently run small business, the quality of our food, service excellence and warm and inviting homely atmosphere are of utmost importance.
Our restaurant seeks a dedicated and reliable individual to join our Kitchen Porter/Assistant team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- to ensure the kitchen areas are kept clean and tidy
- supporting the chefs during service, cleaning and returning essential cooking equipment
- working with the FOH team to ensure a quick and clean turnaround of washing up
- taking responsibility for emptying bins and recycling, including looking after the main bin area
- cleaning down after service and ensuring all surfaces and floors are spotless
- assisting chefs with basic prep as needed
Basic training for operating the dishwashing equipment will also be provided on general food hygiene standards.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £8.50-£12.80 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
