We are looking for a new member to come and join The Thomas Daniell team.
Duties
- Taking orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring guests' needs are met promptly
- Serving food and beverages in a professional manner
- Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with licensing laws and company standards
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the bar and dining areas
- Checking identification to verify legal drinking age
- Handling cash, card payments, and operating POS systems securely
- Assisting with setting up tables, organising reservations, and managing guest seating arrangements
- Providing recommendations on menu items and daily specials to enhance guest experience
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Collaborating with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods
Requirements
- Previous experience as a server or bartender is desirable but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
- Knowledge of licensing laws related to alcohol service is advantageous
- Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions accurately
- A positive attitude, reliability, and strong organisational skills
- Ability to work well within a team environment
