The successful candidate will specialise in advising high-net-worth individuals on a range of private client matters, including estate planning, wills, trusts, probate, and succession planning. Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal advice on estate planning, wills, trusts, probate, and succession matters for private clients.
- Draft and review legal documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related estate planning instruments.
- Manage a diverse caseload efficiently whilst maintaining high standards of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Negotiate terms and agreements with clients, beneficiaries, and third parties to ensure favourable outcomes.
- Assist clients through complex legal processes with clear guidance and personalised solutions.
- Keep abreast of relevant legislative changes affecting private client law and advise accordingly.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are prioritised at all times.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to provide comprehensive legal services.
Skills
- Proven experience in private client law with a thorough understanding of estate planning, wills, trusts, and probate procedures.
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favourable terms for clients while maintaining professional integrity.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with an aptitude for explaining complex legal concepts clearly.
- High level of professionalism with attention to detail and confidentiality.
