The Role
As a Night Support Worker, you will work 8pm to 8am, providing overnight support and ensuring the safety, wellbeing and comfort of the individuals we support.
You will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment, carrying out welfare checks, responding to support needs during the night and ensuring a smooth handover to day staff.
While some nights may be quieter than others, your role remains essential in promoting safety, reassurance and continuity of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred support throughout the night.
- Carry out welfare and wellbeing checks in accordance with support plans.
- Promote dignity, privacy, safety and independence.
- Support individuals who require assistance during overnight hours.
- Respond appropriately to incidents, emergencies or changing needs.
- Complete accurate records, reports and handovers.
- Follow Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies and risk management plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment.
- Work in accordance with safeguarding, health and safety, and company policies.
- Contribute to positive outcomes and quality of life for the people we support.
Who We're Looking For

Previous care experience is welcomed but not essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.
