We are looking for a reliable, skilled, and personable Maintenance Operative to join our wider maintenance team, working across our care homes, nursing home, and supported living service. Your role may include:
- Painting and decorating across our residential and supported living properties to a high standard, this is a significant and valued part of the role
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance to keep our buildings safe, compliant, and well presented
- Responding promptly to reactive maintenance tasks such as plumbing issues, leaks, and general repairs
- Supporting improvement projects across our sites to enhance the environment for our service users and staff
- Working collaboratively as part of a wider maintenance team, sharing skills and supporting colleagues
- Ensuring all works are carried out in line with health and safety requirements and company policies
- Reporting and recording maintenance issues appropriately

- A practical, hands-on approach with a broad general maintenance skill set
- The ability to work independently and prioritise effectively, particularly when responding to reactive works
- A warm, respectful manner when working in environments where vulnerable people live
- A team player who communicates well and takes ownership of their work
