Capital Services are looking for a reliable Driver/Skilled Labourer with excellent customer care skills to join our team that work within London and the Home Counties. Capital Services is a growing development company building new homes and carrying out remedial works within customers’ homes on behalf of ourselves and larger house builders. The successful candidate must meet all the below skill sets and have several years of experience working within occupied properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and operate the truck to make deliveries and assist trades.
- Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed on time and in line with company procedures.
- Manual handling of goods.
- Maintain the yard area to a high standard, ensuring the space remains clean and safe.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while on the road and in the yard.
- Assist with minor vehicle maintenance checks to ensure the truck is in good working condition.
Skills required:
- Be a good team player with excellent communication skills
- Have excellent customer care experience and skills
- Efficient in communication updates to office
- Proven experience as driver/ skilled labourer.
- Ability to carry out a variety of manual handling tasks.
- Full, clean driving licence.
- Good knowledge of London and surrounding areas.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A responsible attitude towards vehicle and yard maintenance.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Duties will include:
- Completing daily paperwork and submitting electronically in a timely manner
- Happy to travel around London and the Home Counties, with good time keeping
- Punctual at all times
- Willingness to learn and improve your skills
- Delivery and collection of materials
- Protecting all areas of works prior to commencement
- Assisting other trades
- Cleaning / organising site
- General labouring
- Basic building works
Capital Services are based in Kings Langley, Herts however the majority of our work is based in and around London and the Home Counties.This is a job that requires commitment. Pay: £140.00-£170.00 per day
