Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Football Coach to join our sports programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing players' skills, fostering teamwork, and promoting a positive sporting environment. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging training sessions tailored to various age groups and skill levels
- Develop customised coaching programmes to improve technical ability, tactical understanding, and physical fitness
- Foster a positive team environment that encourages sportsmanship, discipline, and respect
- Provide constructive feedback to players to support their development
- Organise and oversee match day activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols
- Monitor player progress and maintain accurate records of attendance and performance
- Promote health, safety, and fair play during all coaching activities
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to enhance programme quality
Experience
- Proven experience in sports coaching, preferably within football or similar team sports
- Strong teaching skills with the ability to motivate and inspire players of all ages
- Knowledge of current coaching techniques and best practices in youth sports development
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends as required
- Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications are desirable but not essential; willingness to obtain necessary certifications is expected
