Job description
Are you currently an experienced and passionate Support Worker? We need you to help lead a new specialism within Children's Residential Care.
Cedars Childcare are currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Childcare Practitioner with a passion for providing high-quality care to manage a 3x bedded home with a unique specialism!
This home will only look after children who are awaiting placement with a foster family. Typically supporting a younger group of children aged 6-12, you could expect placement terms between 6-12 months, whilst a suitable family is found. These will be less challenging children who haven't previously been placed in residential care.
City and County LA have encouraged Cedars Childcare to offer this service. It will help protect children from being exposed to damaging behaviours within mainstream residential care.
Through links with local IFA’s, we will bridge these younger children into loving families as soon as they become available!
