Store Manager – New Retail Concept | Merry Hill Build the Team. Shape the Store. Create the Future.
We're preparing to launch an exciting new fashion jewellery, accessories and children's jewellery concept at Merry Hill and are looking for an experienced Store Manager to help bring our vision to life.
Experience in this type of store like Clair's would be an advantage
This is far more than a traditional retail management role. As one of the first members of the team, you'll have the opportunity to influence how the store operates, recruit and develop your own team, create an exceptional customer experience, and help establish a brand-new retail concept from the ground up.
We're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, using their initiative, and making things happen. You'll work closely with senior management, but we're seeking a manager who is confident making decisions, spotting opportunities, and treating the business as if it were their own.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, train and develop a high-performing store team.
- Take ownership of all day-to-day store operations.
- Create a welcoming, engaging and commercially successful store environment.
- Drive sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.
- Maintain outstanding visual merchandising and presentation standards.
- Develop local initiatives to increase customer engagement and footfall.
- Lead by example and inspire a culture of exceptional customer service.
- Manage stock, deliveries, inventory and store administration.
- Work alongside senior management to help shape and develop the concept as it grows.
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Has previous retail management experience.
- Is self-motivated, proactive and full of ideas.
- Enjoys building teams and developing people.
- Has strong commercial awareness and a hands-on approach.
- Can work independently and make confident decisions.
- Takes pride in creating a store that customers love to visit.
- Wants to play a genuine role in building something new.
What We Offer
- The opportunity to help launch a brand-new retail concept.
- A high degree of autonomy and responsibility.
- The chance to influence how the business develops.
- Support from an experienced management team.
- Career progression opportunities as the business grows.
If you're excited by the prospect of building a team, shaping a store and helping create something new from day one, we'd love to hear from you.
