A specialist secondary school in Emsworth is seeking to appoint a committed Teaching Assistant to join its team. The successful candidate will support students in and out of the classroom, helping them engage in learning and access tailored support. The role involves working closely with teaching staff and other professionals to deliver a consistent and supportive approach to student development.
Requirements:
Applicants must have experience working with children or young people in an educational or care setting and hold GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above, or equivalent. The school is looking for someone who is calm, patient, and resilient, with a strong commitment to supporting learners with additional needs. Experience in SEN or specialist education settings is desirable but not essential. The right candidate must also be able to work 8:30am – 3:30pm.
