Cirrus Research, established in 1970, is a leading expert in noise measurement instruments dedicated to preventing noise-induced hearing loss and environmental noise pollution.
The Calibration Sales Representative sells calibration services by managing quotations, processing orders, maintaining customer records, and coordinating calibration service activities. This role ensures accurate, timely communication between customers and technical teams while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.
This is an onsite , in person full -time role at our offices in Hunmanby.
We are not offering sponsorship for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling Calibration Leads - Selling calibration services to existing customers across the UK and ROW. Respond to and manage incoming sales inquiries via phone, email, and chat. Prepare and issue calibration service quotations.
- Lead Qualification & Follow-Ups - Assess potential customers' needs and nurture leads through the sales funnel. Follow up on open quotes to support conversion to sales.
- Administrative – Support with all calibration administrative tasks
- CRM Management - Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales progress.
- Learn and grow - Learn on the job and take continuous training to increase your product knowledge and boost your sales skills.
- Work Environment – Office-based role with regular interaction with sales, operations, and laboratory teams.
Experience
- Experience in sales administration, customer service, or a related role.
- Experience in calibration, technical services, or manufacturing environments preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (i.e. NetSuite).
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
