Clearwell Mobility is the South East's leading retailer of mobility aids for the elderly and less able. Established in 2004 we have 11 showrooms and are now recruiting for a friendly Field Service Engineer to provide support to our customers on a wide range of mobility equipment and stairlifts.
Most of the work takes place at customer's homes throughout East & West Sussex, Surrey and western parts of Kent. This is a crucial role for the company and for our customers who rely heavily on their equipment.
The hours are Monday-Friday 8.00am-4.00pm (40 hrs per week)
What you'll be doing:
- Providing after sales care for mobility scooters, wheelchairs, stairlifts and other mobility aids
- Visiting customers in their own homes to service, diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
- Installation, servicing and maintenance of stairlifts and ramps
- Ensure that all installations and repairs are completed to the highest safety and quality standards.
- Manage workload effectively and ensure a timely delivery of services.
- Keep accurate records of work completed, including job sheets and service reports.

What we're looking for:
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
- Basic understanding of DC electrical circuits and simple testing procedures is an advantage
- Good communication skills - written, listening and verbal – ability to deal with mainly elderly and disabled customers in an empathetic and patient manner
- Able to work under pressure
- Full valid UK driving license (less than 6 points)
- Clean DBS record
