Job Title: Coachbuilder
Location: Hatfield
Shift: Monday to Friday Days – 830am to 530pm
Salary: Up to £25 per hour
About the Role:
We are a well-established fleet maintenance business specialising in vehicle body repairs, and modifications. Supporting a wide range of commercial clients, we ensure vehicles remain safe, compliant and presentable.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and reliable Coachbuilder to join our skilled team.
Key Responsibilities for the Coachbuilder role:
- Repair and rebuild vehicle bodies for commercial fleet vehicles
- Fabricate and install panels using materials such as aluminium, steel, and composite
- Carry out welding, cutting, and forming work
- Work from technical drawings or job specifications
- Diagnose structural body damage and implement effective repairs
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and DVSA compliance requirements
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet turnaround times and customer expectations
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in coachbuilding, vehicle body repair or fabrication
- Strong welding skills (MIG/TIG preferred)
- Ability to use fabrication tools and machinery safely
- Good understanding of commercial vehicle body structures
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working on fleet vehicles such as HGVs, vans, or trailers
- Full UK driving licence
