Summary
We are seeking a Qualified Early Years Educator to join our team as bank staff. Based in Armthorpe, Bessacarr and Cantley, this role offers flexibility to support our daily operations and ensure high-quality care for the children in our care. Your contribution will help us maintain our commitment to excellence in early childhood education and the safe guarding of children.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Support daily routines including play, meals, and rest periods.
- Collaborate with team members to create a safe and inclusive environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress.
- Assist in planning educational activities aligned with early childhood curriculum.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of children's development and activities.
- Adapt to the needs of different age groups within the setting.
- Qualifications - level 3 early years qualification essential
- Recognized qualification in early childhood education or childcare.
- Proven experience working with young children, preferably in a nursery or similar setting.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Ability to work flexibly as part of a team.
- Valid driving license is desirable but not essential.
- Passion for supporting children's growth and learning.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
