Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Tattoo Instructor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tattoo artistry, teaching, and excellent communication skills. This role involves guiding aspiring tattoo artists through technical skills, safety protocols, and artistic development within a professional and supportive environment. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering engaging training sessions, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards, and fostering a positive learning atmosphere for students.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive tattoo training programmes to students of varying skill levels.
- Demonstrate tattoo techniques, including line work, shading, colour blending, and equipment handling.
- Provide personalised feedback to students to enhance their artistic skills and technical proficiency.
- Ensure all training complies with health and safety regulations, including sterilisation procedures and hygiene standards.
- Organise practical workshops, demonstrations, and theoretical lessons to facilitate effective learning.
- Maintain organised training schedules and record student progress accurately.
- Communicate effectively with students to address questions, concerns, and developmental needs.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new techniques, and safety protocols to incorporate into teaching sessions.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a professional tattoo artist with a strong portfolio of work.
- Prior teaching or mentoring experience is highly desirable but not required.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
- Strong organisational skills to plan lessons and manage training resources efficiently.
- Basic IT skills for creating instructional materials and maintaining digital records.
- Ability to work well within a team environment and foster a positive learning atmosphere.
- Relevant certifications in health and safety standards related to tattooing are preferred but not mandatory.
