Liam Bacon Ltd is a well-established and highly respected contractor specialising in roofing, solar PV, and kitchen & bathroom refurbishment projects within the social housing sector.
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of works across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, we are looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Senior Site Manager to oversee the successful delivery of our projects on site.

The Role
As Senior Site Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management and successful delivery of projects, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, on programme, and to the highest standards.
You will lead site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and client relationships while maintaining excellent standards of health & safety, quality, and customer service throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
Projects will primarily involve:
- Pitched Roofing
- Solar PV Installations
- Kitchen & Bathroom Refurbishments
- Planned Maintenance Works within Occupied Social Housing Properties
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all day-to-day site operations across multiple projects.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to specification.
- Lead site teams and subcontractors to achieve programme and quality targets.
- Maintain excellent health & safety standards and ensure full site compliance.
- Carry out quality inspections, audits, and progress reviews.
- Liaise professionally with clients, tenants, housing associations, subcontractors, and internal management teams.
- Monitor project performance and proactively resolve site-related issues.
- Manage site records, reporting, programmes, and project documentation.
- Mentor and support junior site management staff where required.
- Drive a positive site culture focused on teamwork, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.
About You
- Proven experience in a Senior Site Manager or Site Manager role within social housing, planned maintenance, or refurbishment sectors.
- Strong experience managing pitched roofing, solar PV, or kitchen & bathroom refurbishment projects.
- SMSTS or SSSTS qualification essential.
- Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and site compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under pressure.
- IT literate and confident using reporting and site management software.
- Full UK Driving Licence essential.
