We are looking for a reliable and motivated Chocolate Room Operative to join our production team. This is a fast-paced and physically demanding role within a busy manufacturing environment where attention to detail, teamwork, and health & safety are essential.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring Macintyres are loaded with the correct raw materials in the correct order, as instructed by the supervisor, while maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and quality.
- Load liquid chocolate into tankers.
- Ensure all products are correctly labelled and coded before use.
- Complete recipe sheets and any other required administration accurately.
- Report any issues or concerns immediately to the supervisor or manager.
- Carry out reasonable tasks requested by supervisors or managers.
- Always follow site rules, procedures, and wear the correct PPE.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy working environment.
- Follow the company “clean as you go” policy at all times.
- Comply with all unit and company procedures.
Physical Requirements
This role is physically demanding and based across a large 25-acre site. Candidates should:
- Have a moderate level of fitness
- Be comfortable working in warm environments, particularly within the chocolate room
- Be capable of working in a fast-paced production setting
