Agricultural Fitter
Location: Local depot with regional travel
Salary: £15.50+ enhanced overtime
Type: Full-time, permanent
The Role
As an Agricultural Fitter, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and installation of modern agricultural machinery, working with some of the most respected brands in the industry.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Servicing, diagnosing, and repairing agricultural machinery including tractors and sprayers
- Ensuring all machinery meets manufacturer specifications and is safe for use
- Installing and demonstrating machinery for customers when required
- Working closely with service and workshop managers to meet demanding timelines
- Travelling to customer sites within the local depot area (full UK driving licence required)
The Ideal Candidate
- A Level 3 qualification in Land Based Engineering or an equivalent qualification (HGV, Plant, Construction, or similar)
- Previous experience working with agricultural machinery
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure
- Willingness to work overtime during peak agricultural seasons
