Duties
- Assist in food preparation and cooking, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food, and addressing customer inquiries.
- Support team members in daily operations, helping wherever needed to ensure efficiency.
- Engage in upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Perform basic maths for handling transactions accurately.
- Follow all health and safety regulations while working in the kitchen environment.
Skills
- Experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being proactive in assisting others.
- Basic maths skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.
