We are looking for a dedicated KS4 Maths Tutor to help students build confidence and achieve success in their GCSE Mathematics studies. The ideal candidate will be able to explain mathematical concepts clearly and support students across a range of abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver effective one-to-one or small group maths tuition for KS2-KS4 students.
- Teach GCSE Maths topics including algebra, geometry, statistics, probability, and number.
- Help students develop problem-solving skills and exam techniques.
- Assess student progress and adapt lessons accordingly.
- Prepare engaging and structured lesson materials.
- Support students in building confidence and improving attainment.
- Provide constructive feedback and encouragement throughout the learning process.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of the KS4/GCSE Maths curriculum.
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience preferred.
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and engaging manner.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Relevant degree or qualification in Mathematics or a related field preferred.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
Tutors who can teach multiple subjects will be favoured.
