We require an experienced HGV mechanic to carry out routine maintenance, servicing, fault finding and preparation of vehicles to VOSA MOT Standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the upkeep of our fleet, made up of DAF and MAN Tippers. They will be expected to keep up to date with 6 weekly inspections and maintenance records, attend breakdowns as and when required and fit, replace and repair tyres.
Must have a can do attitude and be competent to fault find, use diagnostic equipment and trace problems. You will be expected to self-motivate and manage your workload and working environment.
Welding and fabrication skills required, as well as Class 2 licence.
Rate of pay and possibility of company van to be discussed at interview.
