Groundworker
Venn Group have been approached by a Housing Contractor in Manchester to recruit a Groundworker on a temporary ongoing contract, supporting repairs and maintenance works across domestic social housing properties.
Role Details
- Location: Manchester
- Contract: Temporary to Permanent
- Start: ASAP
- Rate: £18 per hour + van and fuel card
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out day-to-day groundwork repairs on domestic social housing properties
- Complete flagging, paving and concreting works
- Undertake fencing installations
- Carry out minor brickwork repairs
- Use PDA systems to receive, accept and complete daily jobs
- Ensure all work is completed in line with Health & Safety procedures
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience working as a Groundworker
- NVQ or equivalent in Groundworks or Bricklaying
- Previous experience working within social housing
- Must have own hand tools
- Full UK Driving Licence (van provided)
