About Bunch
Every adult loses hundreds of hours a year to admin. Bills they're overpaying. Renewals they forgot. Forms half-filled on a Sunday night. None of it is hard. All of it is exactly the kind of work AI was built for. We're building the AI that handles it. All of it. So people never have to think about it again. We're Series A, moving fast, and we intend to build something that becomes part of how the world works.
We're a small team building from scratch, and we're looking for exceptional people who want real ownership of what they create. If you want to see the direct impact of your work and be part of the founding team that defines how this gets built, read on.
The Role
As Product Designer, you'll shape how people experience the product, from first click to lasting habit. You'll own the full arc of design, from raw research through shipped experiences and have real influence on product direction. As the first designer in the team you will translate new brand guidelines into our product for the first time and be responsible for shaping and developing them as we grow.
You'll design how people interact with an AI that handles their money, their contracts, and their time — where every word, screen, and interaction either builds or erodes trust. You'll shape conversational flows for our AI assistant, craft microcopy that feels warm and precise, and prototype rapidly with AI-native tools before opening Figma.
You'll work in a small, cross-functional team alongside Product Marketing, Engineering, Growth, Brand and Customer Experience. This is an environment where your work ships, your opinions land, and your craft will grow.
What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end UX and UI for one or more core product areas, from discovery through delivery
- Produce journey maps, service blueprints, flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity specs as the moment demands
- Optimise customer journeys based on data analysis and feedback loops
- Collaborate closely with engineers during build, staying close to ensure intent survives implementation
- Define and track UX metrics that connect design decisions to real user outcomes
- Contribute to and evolve the design system; raise the quality bar for the whole team
- Design conversational, text-driven interfaces where language is the product and every word matters
- Prototype rapidly using AI-native tools (v0, Cursor, Lovable, Replit) to validate ideas before committing to code
- Build trust mechanics into every touchpoint with transparency about what the AI is doing, why, and what it means for the user
- Run hypothesis-led experiments, designing for measurable proof, not just polish
- Simplify genuinely complex decisions (energy tariffs, broadband packages, council tax) into flows that feel effortless
- QA what ships, you care as much about the live experience as the Figma file
Who You Are
We care far more about how you think than where you've been. That said, you'll likely have:
- AI-first approach to delivery and always looking for new AI tools to optimise productivity and execution
- 5+ years in UX / product design
- Portfolio showing complex problem-solving, not just beautiful screens
- Mastery of Figma (or similar tooling)
- Strong research & synthesis skills
- Experience shipping at scale
- Comfort with data and experimentation
- Clear, confident communication
- A point of view and the humility to update it
- A natural feel for conversational and text-driven interfaces — you treat tone, hierarchy and word choice as design decisions
- Comfort prototyping with AI-native tools — you reach for v0 or Cursor as naturally as Figma
- Strong facilitation instincts — you bring clarity when engineers, PMs and stakeholders are circling a problem
- High personal bar for quality — sloppy details, inconsistent patterns and lazy defaults bother you
Bonus Points
- Experience with design systems at scale
- Motion / interaction design chops
- Background in SaaS, fintech, or marketplace
- Familiarity with front-end code (HTML/CSS)
- Experience with consumer advocacy, compliance, or trust/safety design
- Understanding of B2B2C distribution, you’ll be designing for partner-embedded experiences as well as our direct B2C app
- Experience designing for products people trust with their money
