Electrician – Solar & EV
Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join their growing team, specialising in solar PV systems and EV charger installations alongside a full range of standard electrical installation and maintenance services.
They work with a wide variety of clients, from residential homeowners through to large-scale new build developments across East Anglia, with the majority of work based in and around Norwich.
The Role
We require an Electrician to support both renewable energy installations and general electrical works. The role offers variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to work across both small and large-scale projects.
Key Details
- Working hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm (Monday to Friday) - may finish earlier some days and need to work longer on others
- Coverage area: East Anglia (predominantly Norwich)
- Project types: Residential, commercial and large new build sites
- Work includes: Solar PV, EV charger installation, and general electrical maintenance and installation
- Travel paid at £0.45 per mile (petrol allowance)
- 28 days holiday including bank holidays when on books at 13 weeks
- Company van provided after 13 weeks
What Our Client is Looking For
- Experience in electrical installation and maintenance
- Knowledge or interest in renewable technologies (solar PV and EV charging)
- Ability to work across multiple project types and sites
- Strong attention to detail and a professional approach
Pay
£230 per day (CIS) - Travel paid at £0.45 per mile (petrol allowance)
