About Us
Higher State Design is the maintenance and refurbishment division supporting Rentals & Sales and Roca Wimbledon, two established property companies managing residential portfolios across South West London.
We carry out high-quality maintenance, refurbishment and improvement works across a large portfolio of rental properties and residential blocks.
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Multi-Trader who takes pride in their work and can handle a wide range of property repairs and refurbishment tasks.
This role suits someone who enjoys varied work and wants consistent work with a professional company.
The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and refurbishment works across residential properties including:
- Carpentry – doors, locks, skirting, kitchens, flooring repairs
- Painting & decorating – preparation and finishing
- Plumbing – taps, leaks, bathroom fittings, pipework
- General building repairs and refurbishment works
- Basic roofing repairs and gutter work
- Basic electrical tasks (light fittings, sockets etc.)
- Tiling and bathroom repairs
- Diagnosing property maintenance issues
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high professional standard
Work will take place primarily across:
Wimbledon
Mitcham
Morden
Colliers Wood
Raynes Park
South West London and nearby Surrey
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience in property maintenance or building trades
- Strong skills in carpentry and general building works
- Ability to carry out plumbing and decorating tasks confidently
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently
- Good problem-solving skills
- Professional manner when dealing with tenants and clients
- Full UK driving licence preferred
Local knowledge of South West London / Surrey is highly desirable.
