Due to steady growth and a healthy order book, we are seeking a Roofing Contracts Supervisor to join our team.
What we are looking for.
- We are seeking an experienced flat roofing Contracts Supervisor who is competent and able to execute the cradle to grave work type of approach from pre-start to hand over.
- You will be familiar with most manufacturers’ various products and be able to read and interpret technical drawings.
- You will have a good knowledge of all flat roofing disciplines.
- You must have excellent communication skills both internally with colleagues and externally when dealing with clients on site.
- Must be motivated and able to work well using your own initiative.
- You must be computer literate, and able to respond quickly to emails.
- Must work well under pressure.
- You must have a current CSCS card and a full UK Driving license for this role.
Key duties.
- Managing all site operations, including labour scheduling and site supervision, to ensure multiple projects are delivered efficiently, on schedule, and in line with programme requirements.
- Drafting and issuing Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and weekly progress reports.
- Demonstrating a strong understanding of project budgets and ensuring projects are delivered in line with agreed financial parameters.
- Attending pre-start and progress meetings, issuing toolbox talks and conveying company procedures and health & safety legislation to operatives.
- Maintain strict quality control throughout all project stages, and handovers.
- Proactively identify and resolve site challenges in a professional and timely manner
