HGV Class 1 Driver – Days Only
Salary: £38,000 per annum
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Days Only
Location: East Anglia, London & Home Counties
AABC Group is one of the leading suppliers of bagged aggregates across East Anglia, London, and the Home Counties. We are currently seeking a reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Driver to join our growing team.

No nights out
No late-night finishes
23 days annual leave plus bank holidays
3–4 deliveries per day
New Pass drivers may be considered
The Role
You will be responsible for operating Class 1 flatbed and bulker vehicles, delivering palletised, bagged, and loose aggregates to customers while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver products safely and efficiently to customer sites
Ensure all loads are correctly secured using straps and nets
Supervise vehicle loading and verify loads against delivery documentation
Obtain customer signatures and accurately record any delivery discrepancies
Complete daily vehicle inspections and report defects promptly
Comply with all tachograph regulations, driver hours legislation, and health and safety requirements
Maintain the vehicle in a clean and roadworthy condition
Carry out any additional duties as reasonably required by the company
Requirements
Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
Current Driver CPC qualification
At least 6 months' driving experience preferred
Strong commitment to safety and customer service
