About the Role
As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, development, and management of the home. You will play a pivotal role in creating the culture, recruiting and developing your team, establishing best practice, and driving the service towards achieving outstanding standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the registration and successful opening of the home.
- Recruit, develop, and inspire a high-performing staff team.
- Create a positive, therapeutic, and child-focused culture throughout the service.
- Ensure the home operates in full compliance with Ofsted regulations, Children's Homes Regulations, and Quality Standards.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and care practices that promote outstanding outcomes.
- Manage budgets, resources, and occupancy levels effectively.
- Build strong relationships with local authorities, placing authorities, families, and external professionals.
- Monitor and improve service quality through effective auditing, review, and continuous improvement processes.
- Champion safeguarding and ensure the welfare of children remains at the centre of all decision-making.
- Work collaboratively with the Responsible Individual to achieve strategic and operational goals.

Requirements
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy/Assistant Manager ready to step into registration.
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, Children's Homes Regulations, and Quality Standards.
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate teams.
- Experience managing safeguarding, compliance, and quality assurance processes.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
- Enhanced DBS check required.
