Role Overview
We are looking for an organised and customer-focused Sales Executive to join our busy sales team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maximising business opportunities, managing existing customer relationships, and providing tailored product solutions to meet customer requirements while also processing orders and liaising with internal departments to ensure excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming customer enquiries via telephone and email
- Convert customer enquiries into orders through effective communication and follow-up
- Process sales orders and ensure all details are correct before submission
- Liaise with production, purchasing and dispatch teams to support customer requirements
- Monitor order progress and provide updates to customers
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales documentation
- Support existing customer accounts and maintain strong working relationships
- Assist with resolving any customer issues or delivery queries
- Manage customer enquiries from initial contact through to quotation and order completion
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable rubber products and solutions
- Identify and pursue new opportunities within existing customer base
- Chasing outstanding quotes for feedback or conversion
Skills & Experience Required
Essential:
- Previous experience in a sales, admin, customer service or office-based role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent telephone and written communication skills
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Confident using Microsoft Office packages and Sage 50
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional and customer-focused approach
Desirable:
- Experience within manufacturing, engineering or industrial supply environments
- Experience preparing quotations and processing orders
- Familiarity with technical products or specifications

Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
