Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across our premises, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff alike. Previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings is highly desirable, along with janitorial expertise. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, public areas, and staff facilities to the highest standards
- Change bed linens, towels, and replenish amenities as required
- Vacuum carpets, mop floors, dust surfaces, and ensure all areas are free from dirt and clutter
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to management
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe working environment
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, and linen stock as needed
- Maintain a professional appearance and courteous attitude when interacting with guests and colleagues
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality environments is preferred
- Janitorial experience is advantageous, demonstrating familiarity with cleaning techniques and equipment
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is beneficial
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail ensures high standards of cleanliness are consistently met
