Role Summary
The Delivery Manager oversees the delivery and customer acceptance of the DLR Project in West London. Reporting to the Head of Production, the role involves coordinating internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure trains are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Ensure arriving trains are coupled and prepared for final inspection.

Close all outstanding quality, material, and modification issues before delivery.

Present vehicles to the client ready for passenger service and manage final inspections.

Coordinate daily testing and commissioning activities to achieve customer acceptance.

Monitor material deliveries, NCRs, shortages, and project progress.

Investigate manufacturing issues, answer technical queries, and track quality trends.

Lead and monitor a team of 4–6 operators and update production schedules.

Control production costs and ensure targets are met within budget and quality requirements.

Promote safe working practices, environmental standards, and compliance with HSE policies.

Manage depot assets and coordinate training and competency requirements.

Essential

Experience in railway operations or project delivery.

Intermediate Spanish language skills.
