Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our vibrant bar environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding of food and beverage service. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of bar staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Oversee beverage preparation, ensuring adherence to recipes, presentation standards, and food safety regulations.
- Manage team schedules, delegate tasks, and motivate staff to maintain high levels of performance.
- Ensure all drink production processes meet quality standards and comply with health and safety regulations.
- Assist with the training of new staff members in service procedures, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Monitor stock levels, place orders for supplies, and manage inventory to prevent shortages or wastage.
- Maintain a welcoming environment for guests by providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues promptly.
- Enforce hygiene standards within the kitchen and bar areas in line with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with management on promotional activities or special events to enhance customer engagement.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within a hospitality setting, preferably in bars
- Experience in team management, including scheduling, training, and motivating staff members.
- Knowledge of food production processes, kitchen operations, and hospitality industry standards.
- Familiarity with serving procedures in busy environments such as hotels or restaurants.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
