Full-time Teaching Assistant – Central Croydon Primary School
A friendly primary school in Central Croydon is looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant to join them from the start of the summer term, during the hours of 8:30am to 3:30pm. This role involves supporting the class teacher and working with pupils across the classroom to help maintain a positive and engaging learning environment.
Experience with the Read, Write, Inc. phonics programme is essential, as you will support early literacy sessions and work with small groups or individual pupils to develop their reading and writing skills.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary setting
- Knowledge of Read, Write, Inc.
- A patient, proactive, and supportive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
