Opportunity
We are currently looking for self-employed VAN OWNER drivers who are enthusiastic, dynamic, with a positive attitude to deliver their services so support a leading micro-mobility company with their Central London operations: deploy and collect bikes and rebalance to meet daily capacity needs.
We need reliable, independent, flexible, hard workers who pay attention to details, can quickly problem solve a wide range of situations, and win in a fast-paced environment! Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, communicate effectively, and are ready to get the job done. Successful delivery drivers enjoy being out on the road driving, putting safety first, and care deeply about customer expectations and satisfaction.
Job details:
- £180-£300 daily rate based on tasks performed rewarding efficiency, reliability and quality
- Shifts available 7 days per week
- Training and onboarding provided
- Speedy weekly invoicing to make your admin simple
- Fuel/charging support provided and congestion charge allowance
Delivery Driver Basic Requirements:
- Own an electric van, preferably long wheel base
- Authorized to work in the United Kingdom
- Full UK driver’s license - clean (6 points max) and no DR (Driving under the influence of alcohol) or IN (uninsured) code endorsements
- Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills
- We welcome Drivers from all delivery backgrounds such as DPD, Evri, Amazon, Tesco, Yodel, Lime...
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safely drive electric van
- Follow all laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policies
- Successfully handle e-bikes.
- Ability to lift and move e-bikes weighing up to 35 kg
- Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events / conditions
- Keep pace in physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions and on various routes; get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations
- Communicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure tasks are completed
- Use smartphone device for GPS Navigation, scanning e-bikes, and communicate with support team
ONBOARDING PROCESS takes approximately 1 DAY to COMPLETE.
