Duties
- Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring that all staff are performing their duties effectively and efficiently.
- Supervise and support team members in various roles including cooking and food preparation.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the premises.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and best practices to guarantee customer safety.
- Help train new staff members on operational procedures and service expectations.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure menu items are prepared to specification and presented attractively.
- Assist in managing inventory levels.
Experience
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry is essential.
- Strong knowledge of culinary practices, food safety standards, and takeaway operations.
- Proven ability to manage a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
- Experience in food preparation is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and teamwork.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
