About the Role
This role offers the opportunity to support the growth of a specialist education provider by helping identify, screen and onboard professionals who support children and young people with additional needs.
As a Recruitment Support Professional at Active Outreach Services, you will play an important role in helping us build a network of tutors, mentors and support staff who deliver education and outreach services across our provision.
Unlike high-volume recruitment environments, this role focuses on quality over quantity. You will have the opportunity to review applications carefully, conduct structured recruitment activities and support a clear recruitment process from application through to onboarding.
Because recruitment is delivered remotely and through structured systems, you will work independently while following established processes, guidance and recruitment standards.
Typical responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing applications and CVs
- Shortlisting suitable candidates
- Sending application forms and recruitment information
- Conducting structured telephone or online interviews
- Completing safer recruitment checks
- Supporting onboarding activities
- Maintaining accurate recruitment records
- Updating recruitment trackers and systems
- Chasing any outstanding documents

Requirements
You will need:
- Previous recruitment, HR or administration experience (preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Access to a laptop or computer
- Access to a smartphone
- Reliable internet access
- Ability to work independently and follow established processes
- Safer Recruitment Certificate/DBS (or willingness to obtain one at your own expense)
- Right to work in the UK
