Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong experience in warehouse operations. This role involves a variety of tasks essential for the smooth operation of our warehouse, including lifting, stock management, picking and packing orders, and ensuring accurate shipping and receiving processes.
Responsibilities
- Operate various warehouse equipment, including forklifts, to move goods safely and efficiently.
- Handle materials with care, ensuring proper lifting techniques are used for heavy items.
- Maintain an organised stock area by accurately picking and packing orders for dispatch.
- Conduct quality control checks on incoming and outgoing products to ensure standards are met.
- Utilise the warehouse software to track inventory levels and manage stock movements and confirm orders.
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a warehouse setting is required.
- Valid UK driving licence is required
- Counter Balance Forklift licence is preferred. If not held, it is required that the successful candidate undertakes training to achieve a licence, which will be provided by Filigree.
- Ability to operate warehouse machinery safely.
- Familiarity with materials handling techniques and comfortable with a physically active role.
- Comfortable with using warehouse related software (pick, despatch, stock movements)
- Excellent attention to detail and self organisational skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork is essential.
