Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 7.5 Tonne / Class 2 lorry for various removal and delivery assignments
- Load and unload goods efficiently, ensuring all items are secured correctly during transit
- Plan and follow designated routes, adhering to delivery schedules and traffic regulations
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after journeys to ensure roadworthiness
- Assist with the organisation of goods within the vehicle for optimal safety and efficiency
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding delivery times or any issues encountered during routes
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and mileage in accordance with company procedures
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles or similar lorries
- Prior delivery driver experience is highly desirable
- Knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for vehicle operation
- Familiarity with route planning and navigation tools
- Ability to handle physical tasks associated with loading/unloading goods safely
- Valid driving licence for 7.5 Tonne / Class 2 vehicles, with a clean driving record

Pay: From £150.00 per day
