Bar Staff – 18+
Location: Melksham, Wiltshire
Job Type: Full‑time / Part‑time
Pay: hourly pay at min pay
We’re looking for enthusiastic, professional people to join our lively team. This is a great chance to work in a busy hospitality setting, delivering great service and making every visit enjoyable for customers. You’ll bring a friendly attitude and attention to detail — prior bar or hospitality experience is helpful but not required, as full training is provided. All roles, including placements/internships, are paid fairly.
Key Duties
- Serve drinks quickly and politely to all customers
- Prepare and present alcoholic and non‑alcoholic drinks following our standards
- Keep the bar area clean, tidy and well‑organised at all times
- Follow all licensing and health & safety rules
- Take payments accurately via the POS system (cash and card)
- Restock supplies and help keep track of inventory levels
- Chat with guests to build a welcoming vibe, and share details of specials or events
- Help with table setup and clearing during busy periods
- Support safe working practices for everyone on site
What We Look For
- Experience in hospitality — not essential
- Awareness of food safety rules is useful
- Strong customer service skills and confident serving ability
- Good organisation and time management, especially during busy shifts
- Basic maths skills for handling payments
- Great team player with clear communication skills
- Friendly, positive and reliable approach
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
