Overview
We are offering an exciting opportunity for aspiring recruitment professionals to join our team as a Recruitment Apprenticeship. This paid position provides valuable hands-on experience within the human resources sector, focusing on talent acquisition and relationship management. The role is ideal for individuals interested in developing their skills in lead generation, applicant tracking systems, and social media management, all within a dynamic organisational environment. Successful apprentices will gain insight into HRIS platforms such as Workday, Taleo, PeopleSoft, and Salesforce, enhancing their understanding of modern recruitment processes.
Responsibilities
- Support the recruitment team in lead generation activities to attract suitable candidates through various channels including social media management and online job boards.
- Assist with maintaining and updating applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as Taleo, Workday, and PeopleSoft to ensure accurate candidate data.
- Contribute to relationship management efforts by engaging with potential candidates and maintaining communication throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Help organise and coordinate interviews, scheduling sessions in collaboration with hiring managers.
- Participate in screening CVs and initial candidate assessments to identify suitable applicants.
- Support the utilisation of HRIS platforms like Salesforce and HRIS systems to streamline recruitment workflows.
- Contribute to employer branding initiatives by assisting with social media content related to recruitment campaigns.
- Collaborate with the HR team to ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures during the hiring process.
Experience
- Previous exposure or familiarity with applicant tracking systems such as Taleo, Workday, or PeopleSoft is advantageous but not essential.
- Basic understanding of social media management tools and platforms used for talent acquisition purposes.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
- Interest or experience in human resources or sales-related activities is desirable.
- Ability to work well within a team environment whilst demonstrating organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn about relationship management techniques and HRIS platforms like Salesforce and HRIS systems.
