Job role: Baler & Compactor Engineer
£44,000 Basic Salary - 40 hours a week
Yearly Earnings £55,000 +
Overtime Time + Half
Van - Fuel Card - Paid Door 2 Door
Shift: Monday - Friday - DAYS
We have partnered with a leading OEM of Baler & Compactors used within recycling, manufacturing, packaging, warehouse environments, who due to continued success are looking to recruit a Baler & Compactor Engineer.
The successful applicant will complete scheduled maintenance, attend breakdowns, assist with installations and provide technical support.
The main responsibilities of the Baler & Compactor Engineer will include.
- Ensuring plant equipment functioning in the correct manner.
- Maintaining all equipment on site - balers, compactors, conveyor systems, recycling machinery, shredders etc.
- Electrical maintenance, installation, fault finding, PLC's
- Installation of machinery onsite.
- Maintaining all mechanical and electrical process equipment.
- Fault finding and diagnostics.
- Following a PPM schedule and recording follow up work.
- Ensuring appropriate housekeeping standards are maintained on a daily basis.
- Continually developing to improve operations to drive improvements in quality, cost and safety.
- Assisting production with machinery problems and setups, providing relevant training when appropriate.
- Responsible for the protecting, always, of the integrity of the Company through positive and constructive actions and attitude.
