Invercare is a home care company providing care in the community. We are currently recruiting an Assistant Service Manager to support our branch with the day-to-day operations of the care at home and housing support service.
What you’ll do
- Lead, inspire, and support a team of coordinators, senior support staff, and admin colleagues.
- Work closely with the Service Manager to keep operations running safely and effectively.
- Champion quality care by ensuring compliance with Care Inspectorate and local authority standards.
- Recruit, train, and mentor staff to help them reach their potential.
- Handle budgeting, invoicing, and payroll alongside service delivery.
- Be a point of support for staff and families — including on-call cover at weekends.
- Drive continuous improvement to make our service the best it can be.
What you’ll bring
- Supervisory or management experience in the care sector.
- SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare (or working towards).
- Leadership and Management Award (or working towards).
- A full driving licence & PVG membership.
- Great communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
