Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Scaffolder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, maintaining, and dismantling scaffolding structures on various sites. We will also consider trainees. This is predominantly street work.
Duties
- Erect, alter, and dismantle scaffolding structures in accordance with safety regulations and project specifications
- Inspect scaffolding for stability and safety before use
- Ensure all scaffolding components are correctly assembled using hand tools and power tools
- Assist with site preparation and organise materials for efficient workflow
- Collaborate with other trades such as carpenters, roofers, or masons on site
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to prevent hazards
- Follow all health and safety protocols throughout the project duration
Requirements
- Proven experience in scaffolding or related construction trades such as carpentry, roofing, or masonry
- Knowledge of construction painting, plumbing, welding, electrical systems, or fabrication is advantageous
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in scaffolding assembly and disassembly
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to working at height
- Ability to work at heights safely and efficiently in various weather conditions
- Good organisational skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and plans
- Relevant certifications or training in scaffolding (preferred but not essential)
- Physical fitness to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy materials and working in confined spaces
Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4pm
Friday 7.30am - 3pm
Must have valid CISRS card
Pay: £20.00-£22.00 per hour
