Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to lead kitchen operations for dive-style sport bar. The ideal candidate specializes in preparing high-quality comfort food, bar bites, and casual dining dishes while maintaining consistency, speed, and food safety standards. The Chef will manage kitchen, oversee food preparation, and ensure an excellent dining experience for guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Develop and update dive-style menu offerings ( wings, fries, sandwiches,, pub etc.)
- Maintain consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Monitor inventory levels and place supply orders as needed
- Control food costs and minimize waste
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service
- Manage kitchen schedules and workflow during peak hours
Skills
- Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a casual or fast-paced restaurant
- Strong knowledge of comfort food and pub-style cuisine
- Leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment
- Strong time management and organizational skills
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour
