Job Title: Clinical Lead
Location: Bristol
Hours: 40 hours per week
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Lead to join our team in Bristol. This is a key leadership role combining both clinical practice and supernumerary responsibilities. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of care, supporting staff, and ensuring effective day-to-day clinical operations.
Working Pattern:
40 hours per week
2 x 9:00am – 5:00pm supernumerary (non-clinical/management) shifts
2 x 12-hour nursing shifts
Alternate weekend working required
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strong clinical leadership and support to the nursing and care team
Oversee and maintain high standards of care delivery in line with regulatory requirements
Act as a role model, promoting best practice and professional standards
Support staff development, supervision, and performance management
Assist with care planning, audits, and compliance processes
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, residents, and families
Step into clinical duties as required during nursing shifts
Requirements:
Valid RGN or RMN PIN (active registration required)
Proven experience working with individuals living with dementia
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
Positive, structured, and personable approach to work
Confident in handling challenging situations and making decisions when needed
Excellent communication and organisational skills
