About the Role
ID PE & Sport Limited is looking for enthusiastic, organised, and motivated Summer Sports Camp Site Leads to oversee the delivery of our exciting Multi-Sport Holiday Camps during the school holidays.
As a Site Lead, you will be responsible for planning, organising, and leading a safe, engaging, and enjoyable programme of sports and recreational activities for children. You will manage the day-to-day running of the camp, support and supervise staff, and ensure every child has a positive and memorable experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operation of the holiday camp.
- Plan and deliver a varied programme of sports, games, and recreational activities.
- Supervise, motivate, and support camp staff.
- Ensure the safety and welfare of all children through effective safeguarding and risk management.
- Liaise with parents/carers professionally during drop-off and collection.
- Complete daily registers, incident reports, and required paperwork.
- Ensure equipment is set up, maintained, and stored safely.
- Create a fun, inclusive, and positive environment for all participants.
Essential Requirements
- Experience working with children in a sports, education, or childcare setting.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- A passion for sport and encouraging children to be active.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and health & safety procedures.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Relevant coaching, teaching, childcare, or sports qualifications are desirable.
