Options Resourcing Ltd are actively recruiting for an experienced Concreter in Plymouth, Devon.
Duties
- Prepare and set up forms for pouring concrete, ensuring proper alignment and stability
- Mix, pour, and finish concrete surfaces, including floors, walls, and pavements
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to achieve desired finishes
- Perform heavy lifting as required during the pouring and finishing processes
- Collaborate with other construction workers, including carpenters and masons, to ensure project efficiency
- Conduct quality checks on finished surfaces to ensure they meet specifications and standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety regulations
- Assist with basic masonry tasks as needed during projects
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or similar role in construction
- Valid CSCS Card (Required)
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various power tools and hand tools safely
- Experience in carpentry is an advantage, particularly in formwork construction
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 kg) regularly throughout the workday
- Familiarity with welding techniques is beneficial but not essential
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively on-site
