Job Overview
Uberfone Ltd is a welcoming, people‑focused mobile retail and repair business with stores across Northern Ireland. We’re known for our friendly service, honest advice, and a team that genuinely enjoys helping customers. The location will be between two stores, located at Fairhill shopping center Ballymena and Tower center Ballymena, we are looking for someone who’s confident, warm, and happy working independently when needed.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with product selection
- Offer personalised recommendations and upsell products to maximise sales opportunities
- Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure attractive product displays
- Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Answer customer enquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Keep the store clean, organised, and well-stocked throughout the shift
- Manage stock levels, organise stockroom areas, and assist with inventory counts
- Support team members during busy periods and contribute to a positive team environment
Skills
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and stock management
- Knowledge of merchandising principles to enhance product presentation
- Ability to upsell products tactfully to maximise sales potential
- Achieve store targets
- Previous sales experience is desireable
- Organisational skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Good interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
- Confidence working alone and managing a store independently when required.

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
