We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. Duties
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults across a range of machinery and equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
- Perform routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to carry out repairs, assembly, and modifications.
- Interpret technical drawings and schematics to facilitate accurate repairs and assembly tasks.
- Conduct heavy lifting where necessary, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment or machinery.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Provide excellent customer service by offering technical advice and support when required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in mechanical repair or maintenance roles.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, schematics, and assembly processes.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and working in physically demanding environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
